Matthew,
Ted, me and Greg at the trailhead. We didn't find Maynard's Cave,
but we had seen the rest of the Family Falls group, and retraced
most of his steps in the process. And while the water levels
were much lower than last year, the final three waterfalls proved
to be hidden jewels as spectacular as those we had already visited.
As we
ended the trip, we were already discussing another trip to find
that most elusive route that Maynard took through the rugged
inner canyon... a third trip to Family Falls, perhaps?
