South Marble Island |

The first stop in the bay was South Marble Island, a tiny rock outcrop that teemed with wildlife. The noisy stellar sea lions (above) made for a spectacle with their constant bellows and barks. A humpback whale circled the scene (below), breaching repeatedly just a few yards from the boat as we floated quietly through the remarkable scene.
