Yaquina Bay Lighthouse

Head to the
      right after leaving the lighthouse, and you will find this cistern,
      located outside the kitchen. Rainwater from the roof of the lighthouse
      was collected in gutters and directed to the cistern with downspouts.
      From this holding tank, water could be pumped directly into the
      kitchen.
