March 1983 Expedition
Below Stein Falls
 

      
Above the potholes area, the
      canyon narrows, with the river running almost entirely over bedrock.
      This view is just below Stein Falls, which we could hear in the
      distance. Spray from Stein Falls could also be seen floating
      down the canyon from this point.
