Trail
From
the summit of Lookout Mountain, you can continue east on the
Divide Trail, to Flag Point, visible here as the flat-topped
ridge in the background. This view also shows the difference
in climate between the steep, exposed south face of Lookout Mountain
(left) where ghost trees outnumber living trees and the relatively
protected, gentle north slope, where few dead trees are visible.
