A
more detailed view of Jefferson Park from Park Ridge, with Russell
Lake in the foreground. In summer, Jeferson Park is a paradise
of wildflowers and lakes. In this autumn view, the meadows have
turned to tawny yellow and red. Though it looks close, Russell
Lake is another 2 miles farther along the Pacific Crest Trail,
but is within reach for hardy day hikers and a popular destination
for backbackers. |
