At this point in our trek, we had traveled the exact route that Maynard Drawson described in his discovery narrative for the first time. The fact that it took us a few attempts, even with his account as our guide, is a testament to the determination and sense of exploration that brought him to his original discovery! The waterlogged adventurers in this photo are, from left, me, Matt, Karl, Alan and Andy.
If this photo looks a bit soggy, that's because Ted had pretty much lost the battle to keep pace with the rain and fog on the camera lens at this point. So it stands as the parting shot from our fourth trip to Maynard Drawson's Family Falls -- and our special thanks go to Alan Hussey for finally showing us the way to Maynard's Cave!
