Dave Falls
Once back to stream level at Dave Falls, Ted photographed the rhododendron (below, right), with the Ron Falls overlook in the far background. This was a symbolic bookend to our earlier trip photos from the overlook that showed this illusive rhododendron blooming across the canyon, just out of our reach. Meanwhile, the horde of photographers set up in front of Dave Falls (below, right) as the rain began to fall. This was an opportunity for me to show Rory and Andy my modified ProBrella camera gear..!
