Scaling the cliff near the falls provided
spectacular views of this cascade, and a glimpse into the next
tier of the canyon, above Jerry Falls. This portion of the route
was the first of many canyon-scaling stretches that involved
pulling yourself up with the aid of vine maple and Oregon grape. |
