After a morning of exploring Juneau, the Adventurer crew arranged for a canoe trip on Mendenhall Lake to the base of the Mendenhall Glacier (above) providing close-ups of the deeply crevassed terminus of the famous glacier (below).

Near the south edge of the Mendenhall Glacier, Nugget Creek Falls thunders into the lake, dwarfing visitors standing at the base of the cascade.
