From Friday Harbor, the Adventurer sailed into British Columbia, and the beginning of two days of cruising through the Canadian Inside Passage en route to Alaska. At Galiano Narrows (above), the ship pass through the first tight passage on the trip. As the daylight began to fade, the view of Mount Garibaldi (below) reminded us that we were leaving familiar territory behind. Garibaldi is the northernmost volcano in the Cascade Mountains, representing the extent of the range the defines the Pacific Northwest.
